China Electric Apparatus Research Institute Brief Introduction

China Electric Apparatus Research Institute was established in 1958, under the management of China National Machinery Industry Corporation, Guangzhou Electric Apparatus Institute(GEARI) has been successfully become a national level research institute,it is integrated with R&D, testing house and certification services for industries.

Nowadays in different district in China have its representative offices with R&D departmet, industrial bases, testing service sites,such as Haizhu District, GZ Science Zone, Huadu District and Panyu District in Guangzhou city, and Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Ningbo and HongKong etc. There are about 2000 employees working in GEARI, 70% of whom is technical staff, including over 100 senior engineers, over 200 consulting professionals at national, provincial and municipal level, and more than 10 industrial project leaders in GEARI.

GEARI has insisted on technological innovations for continuous development by means of integrating advanced technology and oriented markets. As a result, GEARI has made outstanding achievements of R&D and services in fields of electrical and electronics technology, environmental technology, overall layout for household appliance factory, complete sets of production equipments for household appliance (such as production line & testing system, special machine, Central feeding system & Aux. equipments for plastic molding shop, testing lab, surface treatment equipment, Environmental Pollution treatment equipments and etc), integration technology of mechanism and electric, special materials, as well as testing and certification services.

   Xi'an Micromotor Research Institute is a main development center of micromotor and numerical control system in China, engaging in research and development of micro&special motors and servo system. The National Inspection and Testing Center of Qualityfor Micromotor Products is located in the Institute. It possesses the first-class technology and equipment of micro & special motor testing.
      Now it is responsible for leading in the field of micromotor technique. Among National Micromotor Standard Committee, the institute is the chief member and general secretary member respectively. Also, within members of Micromotor Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, the institute is the chief member and general secretary member respectively.
    The institute has manufactured and developed 20 kinds, 80 series, 2000 types of micro & special motors as synchros, resolvers, induction shifters, inductorsyn, encoder, AC and DC tachogenerators, AC and DC torque motors, stepping motors, brushless DC motors, wound disc-armature and printed armature and printed armature DC motor, low speed synchronous motors, rare-earth permanent magnet AC servomotors and all kinds of combined motors, etc. These products have been widely used in such important fields as aeroplanes, spaceflight, ship building, weapons, electronics, nuclear industry, metallurgical industry, machine tool, printing, paper making machinery, instrument industry, chemical industry, robots, etc.

    Multi-function Testing Micromotor Lab is in Xi’an Micromotor Research Institute. National Micromotor Quality Supervision and Testing Center is a notarized third-party status,which is only state-authorized national quality inspection agencies.It is one of the strongest technical testing organization.
    It is mainly responsible micromotor quality supervision checks, micromotor import and export inspection, identification test, inspection and testing commissioned by the Arbitration.
    The center is equipped with performance testing room, environmental conditions room, sound Room and laboratory, which having the world-class testing equipment and technology.
