The performance, outline and mounting dimensions, technical requirement of this series motor all meet the national standard (GB) and IEC standard, furthermore, the mechanical dimension, tolerance meet the ISO standard.
Application condition
1. DZL series DC motor can be mounted at adverse environment site, but it is necessary to adopt proper cooling mode and protection degree for motor in order to guarantee the motor normal operation.2. The cooling air of motor should not contain acid and alkali gases which are harmful to motor insulation and commutating performance.3. If motor is used for ship and at humid tropical zone and in the working environment with salt fog and moistness, another technical agreement should be signed.4. The rated power of motor can be obtained only under conditions of that the altitude not over 1000m, and ambient temperature not exceed 40oC5. The power supply of motor adopts static rectifying power source, and also can use the DC generator as power source.6. When the static power rectifier is used as power supply for motor, the pulse waves of rectifier should not be less than six, furthermore, under conditions of rated basic speed, rated voltage and rated load current, the peak ripple factor should not exceed 10%.
Structure characterize
 1. The frame of this series motor is made of thin polygon silicon steel laminations, which has the advantages of small volume light weight etc. It can be suitable for use with silicon controlled power rectifier. Under condition of rapid change of load current, the motor has excellent communicating performance. Whole stator and rotor adopt VPI solventless varnish treatment so that the winding has good moisture-proof capacity and mechanical property, and wonderful insulation and heat conduction performance. Armature core is made of silicon steel laminations, which has good magnetic conductivity. This series motor adopts rolling bearing, so it can be refilled with oil without stopping motor, the insulation class are all class H.2 The mounting arrangement of this series motor meets the requirements of GB997 and IEC 34-7 «Motor constructions and mounting arrangement code».

3 According to the GB4942.1 and IEC34-5 «Motor enclosure degree of protection, classification » standard, the protective degree of this series motor are IP23 and IP44. Whats more, according to the GB1993 and IEC34-6 «Motor cooling methods » standard, there are four cooling methods for this series motor such as IC06, IC17, IC37 and ICW37A86. If other protective degree and cooling methods are required by user, another agreement may be signed. The standard type cooling air inlet of this series motor is at motor driving end (not at the commutator end).  The protection degree and cooling methods of this series motor are shown as following table:
